Description david chenworth 2010-10-22 16:15:05 UTC
Shared iFolders do NOT allow the removal of users from the share if the iFolder was created as an iFolder 3.6 server, then upgraded to iFolder 3.8.

The following exception occurs:

Remove failed with the following exception:
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Exception: Unable to access POBOX at Simiais.Web.SharedCollection.Removed Member(StringCollectionID, String ID, String AccessID) at Simiais.Web.SharedCollection.Removed Member(StringCollectionID, String ID, String AccessID) at Novell.iFolder.Web.iFolderService.RemoveiFolderUser(StringiFolderID, String UserID)

waiting to hear back, the ftf was sent.
Comment 3 david chenworth 2010-12-13 17:26:15 UTC
Per Customer:

I applied this according to the instructions. When I restarted the server, it apparently came up, but I could not log in at all. I also could not log in as the admin. I reverted according to the instructions. The server is up again now, and I can log in, but of course the problem is still there.

I left the new version of the dll out there as SimiasLib.dll.new in the directories specified in case we want to try it again later. Let me know if you want me to be available when you are troubleshooting it with support.

NOTE: This did not resolve the customers issue.
