After using MD for a whole day, the text editor seems noticeably slower. Maybe it's not the text editor's fault, but it's where I see the symptoms. I think we have some substantial leaks, maybe events as well an memory. I also see MD at > 800MB of RAM, much more than the 150MB it uses after first loading the solution.

we need profiling data for that - it could be anything
