Just installed a clean 11.4 machine and installed iFolder 3 through the available repositories and am running into the same issue). Any progress on fixing this? I really need iFolder to work on this machine. installed: ifolder3-3.8.0.10264.3-3.5.i586 nautilus-ifolder3-3.8.0.10264.3-2.4.i586 novell-ifolder-client-plugins-3.8.0.10264.3-2.4.i586 simias-1.8.3.10090.1-7.2.i586
I can run iFolder but it shows 1 file wasn't synced. did you install mono-mvc and mono-wcf? I have the following packages in my workstation: rpm -qa |egrep -i "ifolder|mono" mono-web-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-zeroconf-provider-avahi-0.9.0-8.2.noarch novell-ifolder-client-plugins-3.8.0.10264.3-15.3.x86_64 libmono-2_0-1-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-mvc-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-addins-0.5-4.7.1.noarch mono-winforms-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-wcf-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-zeroconf-0.9.0-8.2.noarch evolution-mono-plugins-2.32.1-9.12.1.x86_64 nautilus-ifolder3-3.8.0.10264.3-21.3.x86_64 mono-nunit-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 ifolder3-3.8.0.10264.3-36.3.x86_64 mono-data-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-extras-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-data-sqlite-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 mono-core-2.8.2-0.2.3.x86_64 BTW, my OPENSUSE is x86_64.
Still doesn't work with the released version. uwe@palladium:~> ifolder --showconsole Error: Cannot start the local web services. Error: The Simias process failed to initialize. I fixed that 1 item not synced error. I backup my ifolder docs then I went to the ifolder web page and deleted everything. Then, all my local files were removed. After doing that, I rsynced my backup to my dir again, and it synced fine. Last night, I synced my Mac client too. So, now I can sync my OPENSUSE 11.4 and Mac clients without issues. Let me know if you need to get anything from my Linux box that might help you.
