Bugzilla – Bug 663069
zypper PackageKit backend does not use the speed property
Last modified: 2011-06-08 10:49:08 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b8) Gecko/20101214 Firefox/4.0b8 If one runs kpackagekit with the apt backend it displays some info about the current download rate. Using the zypper backend this info is not shown because it does apprently not use the speed property offered by PackageKit. Calling pk_backend_set_speed() should do. Reproducible: Always
Assigning to the kpackagekit maintainer. FYI: At the moment we have a running softwaremgmt update and it is possible to integrate it. Let me know if you wish do fix it.
Reassigning to zypp-maintainers as this request is on the zypp-packagekit backend.
