Pulseaudio still breaks Phonon for nVidia MCP61
Last modified: 2011-03-02 16:40:46 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b11) Gecko/20110203 Firefox/4.0b11 As usual, pulseaudio breaks sound on my system (nVidia MCP61). After starting KDE, Phonon shows an error message that the device (HDA NVidia (AD198x Analog)) is not working. KMix only shows a single strange slider, channel it muted. Pulseaudio has never been working properly on any of my 3 systems. It's definitely not ready to be installed by default. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
