User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 PLease see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261923 , as it is a SUSE specific KDE problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install more than 1 font at a time 2. installer asks each time for password 3. Editing /var/lib/polkit-1/localauthority/10-vendor.d/org.kde.fontinst.manage.pkla, and changing this from: [org.kde.fontinst.manage] Identity=unix-user:* Action=org.kde.fontinst.manage ResultAny=auth_admin ResultInactive=auth_admin ResultActive=auth_admin ------ To: [org.kde.fontinst.manage] Identity=unix-user:* Action=org.kde.fontinst.manage ResultAny=auth_admin ResultInactive=auth_admin ResultActive=auth_admin_keep
It's a general problem of the policykit dialog. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 680586 ***
The policykit dialog deceived you, polkit-1 cannot remember authentication

Just had a font installation under 12.2 / KDE 4.8.5, and guess what.....the bug is still alive.
Hi Marcus, can you tell us why we have org.kde.fontinst.manage auth_admin in /etc/polkit-default-privs.standard instead of the upstream auth_admin_keep? As this is exactly what this bug is about.
the "keep" addition would remember it for approximately 5 minutes and then forget it again. would this enhance your experience?
I think that would fix it
i changing it to auth_admin_keep for factory.
