Bugzilla – Bug 807507
yast2-nis-client doesn't handle systemd service files propery
Last modified: 2013-06-11 07:09:07 UTC
yast nis doesn't handle ypbind and autofs scripts properly as it still reads sysv init script info to determine whether the scripts are enabled.
Created attachment 528198 [details] patch
small correction, the bug is in yast-yast2 Service.ycp
Ludwig, thanks for the patch. Pull request is: https://github.com/yast/yast-yast2/pull/52
Patch seems to be added to repo setting to fixed.
I don't see an entry from the bug bot. Did anyone submit an actual update for 12.3?
No but the fix will show up in upcoming openSUSE 12.4
the fix is needed in 12.3
Reassigned to Lukas since there is not maintainer of package yast2.rpm
The pull request above is incomplete btw. It misses the actual fix. The Info function needs to be removed in Factory. The warning is just cosmetics.
forget about the first sentence in comment#9, github web interface fooled me.
Should we release update of yast2.rpm for 12.3?
Ludwing, does it actually make sense to use Service::Info or Service::FullInfo now? They are used at several places from other YaST modules...

Thanks for your submission. I started an update for openSUSE 12.3. See openSUSE:Maintenance:1461.
So I think we can close the bug
