Description Victor Billings 2005-04-28 20:54:21 UTC
Build : 20050428

Description : The proxy user password dialogue can set the password in the
roster but not in eDir due to rights issues. This means that an admin could
inadvertantly set the proxy users password in the ifolder plugin thinking that
it would set both and render ifolder unusable becuase the roster could no longer
sycn with eDir.

Steps to reproduce :
1.set the ifolder proxy users password using the imanager if# plugin
2.notice how it does not set the eDir password
3.ifolder cant sync anymore

Expected Results : The iF3 iManager plugin should attempt to authenticate with
the new username/password against eDir before it sets those values in simias. If
authentication fails, it should advise the admin that they need to set the
password in eDir first before setting it in simias or the product will fail

Actual Results : There is no warning and the admin can hose themselves
