Description Felix Miata 2014-02-12 17:26:52 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #753203 +++
[appropriate component Bugzilla User Interface is not available to me in select list.]
...
multiple URLs for each bug (basic, plus &goaheadandlogin) cluttering browser history...ha[s] long made Novell's Bugzilla the most annoying of the several Bugzillas I've used over the years.

Quoting Matthew Ehle in bug 753203:
"It's probably a good idea to split this bug accordingly. The two issues are
not related in any way that I can see."

Each bug report should have only one URL.

That's yet another limited access bug. Even it's summary is inaccessible.

The bug mentioned above is unrelated to this bug, but instead email notification URLs.

I am actively working on simplifying the Bugzilla authentication process, and I will see if it is at all possible at this time to reduce the number of "&GoAheadAndLogIn"-based URLs.

The purpose of this URL suffix is to ensure the user is logged in before attempting to access the listed bug (perfect for sending a link to a bug requiring permissions to access), but this should be unnecessary once the login is verified. Once I have determined if this change is possible, I will update this bug accordingly.

Sorry, I do not understand why I have been added to this report. Removing myself.
