Upstream CHANGELOG notes this issue is a regression introduced in dnsmasq version 2.77 and is getting fixed in version 2.78.
Comment 3 Victor Pereira 2017-09-27 07:34:46 UTC
since we never released version 2.77, we aren't affected by this issue.
